New MINI One Review

BMW engineering and building quality is combined with city chic in this minicar. Built in Oxford it is the ultimate cool on the street.
It looks a bit like its legendary predecessor, handles superbly. John Cooper-developed punchy variations deliver ample performance.
Great handling is courtesy of its wheel-at-each-corner design, direct steering, multi-link rear axle and a rigid body.
Body-shell components have been developed to absorb impact energy.
Driver and passenger front and side airbags are standard across the range and an optional head airbag system provides extra protection for passengers front and rear.
Standard equipment level is generous, but there are also thousands of options to individually tailor the car.

Powered by a four cylinder, 16-valve , 1.6-litre engine, the entry-level MINI One offers driving enjoyment by the bucket-load. Performance from the 90 bhp engine is brisk, giving a 0-62 mph time of 10.9 seconds and a top speed of 115mph. Maximum torque of 101 lb ft at 3,000 rpm, gives MINI One an excellent mid-range punch.
Standard equipment includes: electric windows and mirrors, rear window wiper, adjustable front and rear headrests, height adjustable driver's seat, remote control central locking, immobiliser, chrome door handles and grille, cup holders, rev counter on the steering column.
